The work pace is killing me, but I'll plug along as best I can... We did finally pass the acceptance by Pemex and we go on contract at midnight tonight... I imagine there will be a fleet of work boats showing up tonight and tomorrow... oh well... Are you still enjoying the new job...???

Following are e-mail exchanges between Corey and I... Hey Brother... Wondering if you have any updates... The turbo's are in process, been billed for them already, not sure when to expect them. The delrin finally came in so I can make your rear diff mount and get the diff installed. Trany is still waiting to go in as well. The holidays of course were a mess but things are getting wrapped up finally on some lingering stuff laying around. I think next week I'll be able to get everything but the turbo's installed on your car unless they come in by then. The inlets are bigger so I'll need to figure out the silicone couplings once I have them in my hands. They should bolt right on though, no major mods, so that is nice. Couple of things... I am going to order an AMS 1000 when I get home... Would it help to go ahead with that and set the turbo's up with it rather than using the springs since we have it apart... If so, I'll see if I can go ahead and order it from out here and have it drop shipped unless you have a good contact for that.. Precision??? or one of your other contacts... Cheapest I've found it is a lil over 950.00 Do you have the pieces we need to add in the oil cooler/s so that we can move that big goofy looking oil cooling thing off the block and away from the Turbo's... If not, can you order that as I'm not sure what to get, and maybe re-evaluate the location of one or if needed, two oil coolers... If you feel comfortable with it, go ahead and order the oil cooler/s after you figure out the size we need and how to mount them... I am trying to do whatever is needed to prevent any further damage to the turbo's... I am supposing since you only mentioned the inlet size, that everything else is the same??? RE: The turbo's being modified... Well, everything is different, but the flange locations on the exhaust housing are in the same place. It's just bigger on the inside. The center sections will be the same ones we sent in. The compressor will be bigger, but we shouldn't have trouble fitting it once that cooler POS is out of the way. I have everything but the cooler we would use for the oil cooling system. Looks like I can save you $50 on the AMS 1000. It will certainly be better to plumb that up now while we can reach everything. I'll get to measuring this morning and will get the oil cooler plan in motion. Corey Looks like I'll have the turbo's today or tomorrow. AMS 1000 is ordered. C The 67/66's you have now, are rated at 930ish per turbo... Not that we'll have to push them that hard O......... M........ G....... Wow, cool deal... Hopefully they'll withstand the heat being thrown at them... Turbo's are here. I need to modify the compressor housings, and figured we should coat the exhaust housings this time.... Just got off the phone with Rob, he'll be by tomorrow to pick up the housings. c The diff bushing is 98% done. I'm waiting on the correct drill bit (should be here any minute) so I can make the internal dimension correct for the steel inner sleeve. Then we're good to go on the diff project. I'll know about the oil cooler I want in the morning. I'll have to order a couple fittings but that isn't a problem. I need to stock up on some stuff anyway. Boost controller is in the mail already...We're doing good. Corey Ok, the delrin bushings.....CAME OUT PERFECT! I know, I know, I told you it was almost done already. Well, it's done, and it's f***ing sweet. Nice and tight, Corey

nice! cant wait to see some pics of the install of the controller for the turbos. I'll be getting bigger turbos soon enough and am seriously considering upgrading to the AMS1000. I'll let you be the guinea pig for testing
Hope everything is doing well down there!
