if its really NOT about the money, and just the hassle (meaning the time and effort to get it fixed is an issue and not the cost of the fixing) then get the lambo. I am a firm believer in getting what you truly want if its possible. you will regret it otherwise and even after getting the ZL1 you will still say " I wish I had a lambo"
btw, get the lambo, have it for a year, see if its working out. if not sell it. you will have satisfied your thirst.

C7 z06 all the way. Get Lambo instead of the zl1. If youre thinking or dreaming of a Lambo, nothing will satisfy you except getting one. A ZL1 is a totally different car...not in the same league as the Murcielago. ZR1 used? You can have a bunch of crazy cars in that price range!

Is this thread for real? I find it hard to believe someone would cross shop those two cars. Personally if I had that much money for a Lamborghini I would be looking at the new C7 ZO6 and then put 30k into it but I'm just biased towards domestic cars. A new ZO6 with 30k invested would be killer and be much more practical and economical.

Let me start by asking you a question;
If you only had 6 months left to live what would you do? While this is not a sound criteria to live ones life by, it sounds like money isn't a real concern so my two cents is to live life to the fullest. I went through a very tough year health wise and certainly try to live life to its fullest ever since, and while I do OK I'm not well off. Also, if the Lambo doesn't work out in 12-18 months you can sell it and get the ZL1 still. It may cost you a couple bucks in the long run but that's one item check off the list of things to do before this ride called life is done.

If its a choice of one or the other (and not both) then my choice would be the ZL1 and not because I am a chevy fanboy..
1st would be the reason's other members and yourself have stated; very expensive to repair and certified mechanic location. 2nd would be driving mileage. Even guys who "drive" their supercar's keep the mileage way under the average muscle car. I would suspect for insurance reasons and general wear and tear. 3rd, I rented an Aventador in Las Vegas and took it to the track (well that was the whole reason for renting it). I would love to own one, but not as my DD or even a second car. On a track, they are epic but I noticed at normal driving conditions the car just didn't handle like I thought it should, so light to light traffic kinda sucked (aside from the stares and camara's). Oh, and I also agree on the C7 Z06, if you really want a fantastic DD sports cars, then wait for it. |

And the doors go up! Both things of which cant be purchased for a ZL1 off of ebay lol!
This thread cant be real anymore. I should thread jack and ask if I should buy a used Pagani Zonda or new Z28
