I made air dams for the bottom and top of the grill to force the air where I needed it. Opened the bow tie and now more air:

Radiator custom lower I made:

Cooling is everything for the track!

That looks awesome. Do you know the weight of your car now? I was curious to see you running a 20" wheel.

No, have not weighed it. I’m heavy anyway so I’d have to take care of that first ;o)

The dams are ABS but the sc, reservoir, and coolers add some weight. I like road racing but, if I was serious, I’d be N/A and the car would be stripped down for sure ;o)

20" as they are forged. While I focus on road courses, I like to drive it places, thus some of the creature comforts. The Recaros are unbelievable... just love them...

You car in satin black though just looks menacing...

Who’s rockers do you have, Z/28s? Like those...

Attended my second track day at Thunderhill East last Friday. Had a blast. Only about 40 cars showed up which bumped our sessions up to 30 minutes. Camaro held up extremely well. I had to have put in about 60+ laps before calling it a day. Oil temp peaked at 245 after my last 30 minute session.

My RE-11s are on their last leg, and the OEM pads need to be put in the trash for some G-LOC R18s. I'm prospecting between the ZL1-1LE forged 19" wheels with Goodyears or custom CCW forged 18" wheels with 315/335 Ferrari Challenge take-offs.

TWM shift knob installed the other day. No weight on the ball compared to the hurst baseball configuration. Truly a happy shifting experience with this setup. Not too sure about the customer support from TWM, but the product is solid and puts my right hand closer to the steering wheel.

Snagged this z/28 set with the weirdest tires on them: Yokohama ADVAN SPORT V105 - SIZE: 305/30ZR19. They are brand new and I plan to use them for recreational activities until my smog is due. This is a picture today before it went up for alignment.

Later in the afternoon, I took shipment of my second set of z/28 wheels that I plan to run at the track. Purchased these from a camaro5 patron and has used Pirelli P ZERO TROFEO R - SIZE: 305/30ZR19. I plan to run the trofeos at the track and replace them with the GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 SUPERCAR 3R 305/30ZR19 when the tire are due for changing.

Got my car back from alignment. We are now able to push through -4 camber in the front with the offset given by the z/28 wheels. The car is exponentially faster and the difference in feedback is astonishing. Having the extra half inch width in the rear is a game changer.

Finished up this awesome Oracle headlight upgrade and some cosmetic tint around the car. Here's what I have up the pipeline for the next year or so:

1. Roll Cage / Seats

2. Differential + Cooler, New Gearing, lines and full clutch system

3. Re-Tune

4. Brake Pads

5. Back to the track!

Great shakedown today with unruly conditions. These tires hold up great in the rain.

Been a couple months since my last post. Had to update my login credentials and such. Moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles in June. Had the pleasure of driving the Camaro down to SoCal. Recently ran Angeles Crest. Lots of fun up there, but waiting on finances to complete my cage and seats as well as a new differential when I have the chance.

Loving the look of the satin black. Can clean it with some water and glass concentrate real quick. Also finally picked up a truck; 2018 F-150 5.0 Coyote 10 Speed. Now I can dedicate the Camaro to be off road only and save up for a trailer.

Always wanted a Coyote but in 2018 they stepped up with dual injection. Looking to get into some Roush parts, but will be a truck as it sits in the mean time.

Shredded Angeles Crest the other day. Fun roads I had to back a second time. Here's a pick from my first outing. Just buying time until I can set up a trailer solution to schlep my Camaro over to get my cage built.
