You know it! If we're going to beat last year's total of Synergy Green, we'll need at least 14 cars to do it. If you know or meet anybody else with a SGM, be sure to invite them. (Of course you all already know to invite anybody with a Camaro, right?)

With Aaron and Chris, that would be three already coming from Oregon! I need to contact CRCC to formally invite some more.

By the way, speaking of (to) Aaron: Are you planning on doing both the all Chevy and Camaro Show (PNWCC) in July, and the Wally's meet in August?

Awesome! One or two nights? You've reminded me that I was supposed to do this awhile ago, so I drove down there today and booked a block of rooms. I'll make a separate post to let everybody know. Sorry I let that slide; now you know why I will be recruiting volunteers to help me out with this thing!

Rooms available for August 8th and 9th.

I have booked 4 rooms at the Econo Lodge in Buckley for August 8th and 9th. If you will be traveling from elsewhere and need a room for one or both nights, let me know.
The Econo Lodge is the only hotel in Buckley. It is only about a quarter mile from Wally's (so it should only take you about 12 seconds to get there, right? ). The rooms I have booked have one bed, if you need a room with 2 beds, let me know; the sooner the better.
Normally, vacancies are common at this hotel, but unfortunately, the weekend that we hold our meet coincides with an evangelical convention at the King County Fairgrounds in next-door Enumclaw. Enumclaw is just over the White River, and has (as far as I know) about 2 hotels, which fill up quick causing demand for the only other nearby hotel in Buckley.
Since there are still rooms available at this time, I'd like to ask that if you are planning on coming and need a room, that you first try calling* there on your own and making a reservation. That way I can hang onto these rooms as long as I can for any last minute out of town guests. I know the hotel will be booked by then. So I advise acting fast. Even if you're not sure that you will be able to make it, you can still cancel at anytime up til 24 before check-in.
*I specified calling, because the receptionist mentioned that they had shut down online reservations for those days, because of the intense demand.
I'm not exactly sure of the reasoning behind this, maybe my wife will be able to explain it to me.
If the hotel is booked, let me know you want one of these rooms and I will save it for you. I have no idea what the demand will be, so I picked 4 rooms and crossed my fingers that it will be enough. If you do manage to book a room on your own, let me know. I just want to have an idea of how many will be over-nighting, to help me in next years planning.
To avoid unnecessary charges, any rooms not spoken for will be released at some point before the 24 hour deadline.
