I know I’m going to take some heat for this decision, but got a great deal on these rims off an 18 SS. My tires are almost brand new, the previous owner had put maybe a thousand miles on them before he sold the car to me, so I’ll be swapping tires and selling the 45th Anniversary rims. The 6th gen split spokes just look nicer in my opinion. (Also, please don’t give me shit about the caliper covers, they came with the car and actually match the red on the hood and trunk nicely).

First of all LT1Zob, YOU do what YOU like on your car. 999999999999.9999999997% of the people on this forum feel this way and the rest are just trolls. As for please don’t give me shit about the caliper covers, they came with the car and actually match the red on the hood and trunk nicely, I have them on mine and if they go well with your hood and trunk so be it(you just got a $250 mod for nothing). You can always paint the calipers or upgrade the brakes later. This is where having the 45th comes in, the least amount of irreversible mods you do, you can always get back to the stock 45th(like just taking the caliper covers off if you decide). Cleaned up a bit under the hood, vacuumed the inside and the trunk and straightened the Borla tips that were a bit crooked (toe out on both sides

)

Went to my buddy’s house who has a lift. Changed the dif, trans and engine oil. Baselined, now I know it’s done, and more importantly, done by me.

I'm a big fan of the 45th

Nice car!

I also switched out the stock wheels. I went with some Forgestar F14s with 45th stripe paint scheme matched.

Decided to wrap the strut brace and had a 6th gen Camaro emblem, so added that to the center.
