I hope we get to see a GT350 vs 1LE Head 2 Head. Beating it same day same driver would silence a lot of people, of course, the 1LE could still lose on a track. The instrumented testing doesn't necessarily translate to a win on the track.

Just saw his again...it's partly pink, but on the other side lol. Guessing the pinkish hue can vary. One of the reasons Mishimoto is making a nicer version of this...

Even with the hp difference, I don't see the SS 1LE losing to a non R GT350. There are just too many stats out there that lend me to think a dead heat, or an SS 1LE win...like how the C7 Z51 easily beat a GT350 TP, and how testing shows the SS 1LE to be a match, or quicker than that car...

The ZL1 ones? I kinda find them too busy looking. But I need to see them in real life before casting final judgment.

That 1LE spoiler is perfect. Does anyone know if that spoiler is or will be available to buy?

Check out the Stillen kit, some people on the forums already have it equipped on the 16's ("Ladytee" comes to mind). I'm making plans already in my head but at the same time I don't want to lose the muscle car look, ricer trim kits are a nono for me in that regaed. These ones in particular look just right though...

Funny but I said to myself the first thing I am going to do when I get my 1LE is take the SS emblem off the bumper. I think it looks out of place anyway. Although I planned on putting it on my toolbox

If the test would take place it would be a 2017 GT350 with the track package now standard against the 1LE. I'm not sure the 1LE would be the victor in this matchup. Against the standard 2016 GT350 it wouldn't have been a contest, Ford must have known this and wanted to save the embarassment thus the change to the 2017 model.

The car C&D tested was a GT350 with the track pack. It's numbers are not up to par with a SS 1LE, and it's track time was a nice chunk of change behind a C7 Z51 (1.3 seconds if I recall), which the SS 1LE has already been shown to match or beat on track.

My gut tells me if these two cars meet up, it will be very close, with the nod going to the SS 1LE (at over $12,000 less). Remember, only the R gets the super light carbon fiber wheels and super sticky tires...

SS 1LE - GT350 (track pack)

As tested: $45,700 - $59,970

0-60: 4.1 - 4.3

1/4 mile ET: 12.4 - 12.5

1/4 mile TS: 116 - 119

Skidpad: 1.05 - 1.00

Braking: 141 - 171

On the right track. On a longer one the vette pulls away.
