Congrats That is great news! your dealer sounds well informed (vary rare). I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he informed me that I was getting a 2012, but I think he was just telling me what I want to hear. I just emailed him that letter from GM that you posted in another thread, I think it worries him that I know more of whats going on then he does. haha

Thats what I did........emailed him that report.........probabaly flipped the entire works of them all out.......how'd he get that?........but I have still not heard anything yet.......no news could be good news...........may have to start thinking about the next generation shelby......if they could only get the restyle right, driveline just about there..

I'm pretty sure my dealer got tired of me correcting him on everything and won't talk to me anymore. I literally haven't spoken with the dealer since December.

Quick question - What options did you order?

I have a theory that they may be building only those with certain options, for example no stripe package since there seem to be some issues with those, and with the CF hood since black painted is on constraint.

Just curious, passing the time, coming up with all sorts of conspiracy theories...

Mine will be Black with sun roof, no strips, polished wheels( still debating that one), sueded appearance package and exposed carbon weave hood insert.

What i hope to do is get some custom pin striping done. Somthing thin and subtle. Red probably. i want to personalize it a bit. I will need to find someone who is a great and well respected pin striper. Not going to just let anyone touch this car.

Sounds similar to my order...Ashen, manual, no stripes, sun roof, CF hood...hopefully my theory is true!

I was thinking of having some painted stripes put on at some point...possibly 'ghosted'...but, have to get the car first...

WOW wyoming and mine are identical to that point. I am getting illuminated footwells, cargo net, premium floor mats, but those are all LPO lol

Well if that's gonna be the case I'm screwed haha. I ordered VR with black painted insert and the black stripe. Black wheels, manual transmission and the suede package. I just really want the car I ordered! I refuse to change it just to get built. In my mind that's the best color combo for my car that I'm spending 60K on! GM just build the damn thing already and stop jerking with my mind!
