I talked to 3 different people at customer care and it was really just a waste of time.They had aboslutley nothing for me. The last thing they told me was they were going to call my dealer for information. I told them dont worry about it. I still have hope because my dealer told me last week that his rep said mine would be a 2012. Guess I will just wait till the 19th untill I call my dealer again.

yeah this process that everybody defends does not make you feel like you don't count for much doesn't it. rolling into month 5 of no good news. at least someone besides me is making intrest on my money I guess haha.

Actually these dealers have less info than us camaro 5 guys.......Gm gives these guys jack squat.......seriously.....my dealer said he feels "sorry " for me because he HAS NOTHING to give me!..........there you go

Hi Dimitri,

I’ve been meaning to contact you.* I’ve been hammering my rep about the ZL1 and he said it will be built and delivered to me by the end of June.* He actually emailed John Fitzpatrick himself and got this answer.* Your Camaro was a handful that was accidentally ‘placed’ last fall giving me the impression it was going to be built in February with the first batch.* In order for me to get it built I did need to add the B92 option though.

As we all wait here and post about nothing new to report, I had flash
back of a scene from an old Clint Eastwood western movie. You know
the one where he says to the guy as he points the gun at him "Feel Lucky".
I'm hoping I get lucky this coming Thursday and receive a lottery
allocation, along with all my partners here in the 1100 club.

What a total difference in attitude here in from the 1/4 mile thread...........go in there for a while and its open season on zl1's..........too heavy, too slow, over hyped, bs,fake et's, haha, you name it........nothing seems to be going right this week ...........at least I have another chance to make up my mind due to the 2013 carryover issue

I went in to my dealership today and asked them to contact the dealer rep to see if my allocation was going to be picked up. They called and the dealer rep said they would get back to them. I sat there for over two hours and finally got a reply, my allocation is supposed to be picked up the 19th.

Actually they are sensitive to getting info to the dealer first... but once it's sent to the dealer it hits here very quickly, almost immediately after and most dealers haven't discovered the announcement yet... Some of them are out selling trucks and stuff...

SWEET!!!!! Hopefully a bunch of us get to leave this thread behind on Thursday. We should list all of our order numbers in the OP and see how many get picked up.

Please post back on this thread with your vin number. I don't mean to sound negative but from what I have been told the official word about who gets the
allocations will be known this Thursday. I hope I was given wronge information
and you do indeed have an allocation from your dealer.
