Front-ish and side profile pic of mine after I installed the Heritage Grill. I left it unpainted for now since the car is gray.

It made such a huge improvement to the front of the car. I love it. That little nub coming down from the middle of the top of the front bumper is my splitter camera. I have it pointed down so I can see exactly where the parking lot bump stops are before hitting them. It helps.

Yes...I need wheels.

I have a front camera for that same reason lol

I also ordered a heritage grill today too. All the pictures settled it for me.

They are making the Genuine GM ones again due to demand. Phastek has them and I think maybe a couple other sites.

There are also really good quality knockoffs on Ebay, which is what I bought (right before GM re-released them). I was amazed at the quality. The only thing it's missing is the GM logo imprint. I paid $160-ish. But I can totally understand that there are some guys here that would not install a non-GM version, and I get that. But the price was right for me and you absolutely cannot tell the difference.

I just wish GM would re-release the 10-13 GFX front SS splitter. Mine was demolished due to road debris. You can also find copies of them, but none of them include the bracket kit required to install them, and you cannot do it properly without it. I lost part of the brackets when I removed mine, so I installed an SLP splitter in its place. I'm sure if I searched I could find one in a salvage yard, but I haven't tried since my goal is to convert to a ZL1 front bumper.

So any of you with a 10-13 GFX front splitter...take care of that sucker!

I think the Heritage grill looks fantastic, but has less airflow than stock. That is one reason to add a hood vent, that and to get heat out of the engine bay.

The original grill has larger holes and openings compared to the heritage grill which has a lot more openings but smaller. I don’t believe one grill is more effective at cooling then the other. Overall it is about the same size opening. If you had the ability to measure the airflow of one vs the other would you see a difference? Most likely yes. But I think that difference being noticeable in your coolant temps etc as your driving the car would be so minute you would never know. I wouldn’t worry too much about airflow unless you are going for a serious max hp car that is going to need all the cooling and airflow it can get. Just use whatever grill you think looks best. These cars came with big grill openings and two of them at that. They should provide quite a bit of air. In fact the newer cars they made the upper grill even narrower then early cars.

Definitely makes the car look more aggressive than the stock SS Grille. I also added the SLP front Splitter. I would also consider a splitter.
