Hi Natti337,

I understand that you fellow forum members came through and put your mind at ease about the shaking you were experiencing. Feel free to contact us if you have any lingering questions or concerns.

I get a light shake at idle in my 14 1LS, you can feel it much more in the shift knob than in your seat. It's not a big deal. If the car's not in gear and I blip the throttle, the entire car will rock. That's always good to put a quick smile on my face (although its probably not so good for the motor mounts). Our V6's may not be V8's... but they are still pretty powerful.

Natti337,,

If it helps my V-6 Camaro RS shakes a little at idle sometimes since bought new back in 2013. No check light have come on so I don't worry about it much. You can try another brand of gas and see what happens. I use Chevron.

It's called an Engine Shiver. Perfectly normal for a high-torque LS engine. It's somewhat enjoyable in traffic, unless you drive automatic.

I know what you mean by the shaking.

It happened once to meet. I was like wtf earthquake?

It hasn't happened since. It happened around the 1500~ miles point. I'm at 4000 now.

I think it was really hot and I was in bumper to bumper traffic, AC on.

I am not familiar with the V6’s, (what is the hp by the way??).

My ZL1 chugs and chops and shakes. That’s the beast within. And that’s certainly why I bought it. I had an older Z28 that did the same thing.

On a seperate note....in the morning when I start it up it almost blows the walls right off the garage…and I’m sure it wakes up the neighbours and cats and dogs and squirrels throughout a 3 block perimeter. Again, that is the whole point to the car. Its a bad as*ed beast, and that's why I love it.

The LLT in the 2010 and 2011 is 312hp and the LFX in 2012+ is 323hp. A lot of hp for a NA V6.

I would start y checking all your connections and grounds first. And as mentioned, sometimes it is possible to get a bad starter, or battery or alt. Been there and done that before..
