I have a truck - a 2010 Dodge Ram, which I love... why would I want another one?

If I only had one vehicle, yes in a heartbeat I would trade a camaro (mustang/challenger etc etc) for a truck. ive had Mustang's for DDs, yeah it was fun having something fast and fun to drive everyday, but I hate having to borrow someones truck for something when stuff wouldnt fit in it,

Luckily the camaro isnt my daily driver. I have a cruze that i drive around in now that my wife will be driving my grand cherokee. But, I could consolidate, save some money and have a nice truck...or just keep my car.

I love the old s-10s. I don't know what chevy was thinking with that Isuzu Colorado monstrosity. I think that truck was actually outdated when it first came out. Bring back the S-10. Rant over.

No, but on the other hand, I did not trade my truck for my Camaro either. I have 2006 Honda Ridgeline I use as both a daily driver (when I have to take the kids to school) and as a good home projects vehicle. Lots of room, study, built like a taknk (judging by the two accidents I have had with the vehicle) and still has decent gas mileage. I paid it off, then bought my Camaro. Until renovations are done on the house, or the kids are alot older, it is not practical to get rid of the truck. On the other hand, I ain't planning on giving up the Camaro either!

I might give up the truck for another truck... but only after the Camaro is paid for.

I have traded my muscle car before for a truck and all though it was a bad ass 2010 Ram Sport Hemi, I would never want a truck in place of my fun car. It was horrible to be without, felt like a piece of me was missing. Now I will never be without again, knock on wood!
But then again I'm lucky to have my 1LE and my 2013 crew cab Nissan frontier that I love almost as much as my car... ALMOST!!

Thing is, it wouldnt be "in place of". My Camaro would just be gone. I drove the FX4 last night and really liked it. But I drove my SS to work today and something about rowing through the gears makes me second guess this whole process. That said, I might still get the car appraised today. Going into winter here in Pittsburgh I'm sure its worth a ton... Maybe they will low ball me so bad that I keep it and this whole process goes away.

See the issue here is winter is coming and I have a baby on the way. So, why not get something fun to drive, that is cool and is practical.

Other than the Ecoboost V6, i'm good with the truck. Now to find a 5.0....
