Car Cover

Hey All,

Im in the market for a decent outdoor cover to protect my 2010 over the winter. I have a concern with fitment since i have the OEM ground effects package as well as the rather tall Streetfighter LA spoiler. ANybody with a similar setup recommend a cover that i know will fit and cover everything? im currently looking at the Ultraguard cover from RPIdesigns but id like to also be able to put a cable and lock on it and i dont think that one has the provisions for that.

I have the CoverCraft Weathershield HD on my 1LE and fits perfect and snug. It’s been a great cover the past 3 years when it has to sit outdoors. I just purchased the Weathershield HP for the Z/28 and was skeptical about fitment due to the wicker and extended splitter. It ended up fitting perfect. I know that they say on their website that you can call and get one custom. I am very pleased with theirs, although on the spendy side

I have this one and really like it. Have had it for about 4 years now. Fits really nice and wraps around everything except my huge Z28 front splitter. It should cover your OEM front. I also have the tall STREETFIGHTERLA spoiler on there and the lower rear quarter panel spats that look just like your lower rear fender GFX bumper, and it pulls all the way down over them. So the only thing not covered is my front splitter and about 4 inches of the bottom of each wheel.

I'm rocking a Coverkings cover and love it. The fit and finish is pretty good. Mid range on price I would say.

You should check out California Car Cover. We had one on our Corvette outside for 6 yrs when we lived outside Chicago. It was great.

There's a very long lead time for the covercraft covers right now.

I ordered my cover Oct 19, and it won't ship until December. Luckily the Camaro is in a garage all the time, but I wanted an indoor dust cover.

So my advice, while I think they are the best (have 2 of their covers on other cars)... you should try to find what you can actually get before winter

Thanks for all the help everyone! My wife actually reached out to my good car friend and he helped her pick one for me for christmas. I put it on last night since we were expecting snow. Fits great! The rear is maybe an inch or 2 short due to the larger spoiler but thats fine with me. Snug fit and looks great! I picked up a cable lock at advanced for piece of mind as well.

This shot shows where its a bit short. I was expecting that tho since i have the GM GFX and the big wing on the back. I love it so far, lets just see what my HOA says once they notice the big red and black on cover on the car they hate so much lol.
