Smile A rear fish tail

Just wondering has anyone ever been driving at say 50-60 mph while either switching lanes, or driving over bumpy roads and fell like the rear of the car does a fish tail movement? Just curious as to if I were the only one who experienced that. Could anyone explain what could be the cause of that, and how to correct that matter? Thxs !!!

Only notice it on mine on Hard acceleration and in the rain.

Maybe your just switching lane to fast and to aggressively.

This happens to me in all the cars I drive. Mostly on curves at higher speeds. I just thought it was the car skipping over in the direction of the curve.

Not sure if this is the same thing you experience but...... I took an on ramp rated at 25mph that curves 270 degrees way way way to fast. About 1/2 the way around I floored it from 30 in 3rd gear (had a rice burner on my tail!), not sure what my actual speed was... but I was going fast enough and turning sharply enough that it scared the S*** out of me. When I thought the rear end was going to break loose, I felt that "simulated 4 wheel steering" feeling and the rear end tracked perfectly. I know with some cars when you corner long or hard the suspension tends to "Toe" in or out producing that feeling. I know for sure traction control etc... was not engaging. There are several manufactures that build their rear suspensions this way, Volvo in particular, to aid in evasive menuvering. Its possible this is what you felt. Trust me you'll appreciate this feeling when you really need it.

The rear feels floaty at speed for sure, but I don't think it has ever fishtailed. I want to get this thing on the track though so I can figure it out. So far I suck at driving it.

The rear doesn't feel as floaty as a live axle vehicle. Remember, this is the first Camaro to have an independent rear suspension.

Are there ruts in the road? The larger tires on Camaros tend to track quite a bit with the road surface.
