I use Buttery Wax from Adam's Polishes. I addressed this issue with Adam prior to getting my Camaro. I drove my 'maro home Sep 1st and have been using the Buttery Wax since. Adam has been detailing his own cars for years so I trust his judgement. I knew he wasn't just trying to sell me his product. He offered some advice and sent me free samples of his products so I could see that he wasn't full sh*t. I trust his products over anything that's on the shelf. And thanks to the Buttery Wax, mu stripes are well protected from the elements and maintain a rich dark black. Much better looking then when I took delivery of the car.

I was just doing some internet searches on Vinyl Graphics Care and there seems to be as many theories on how to care for stripes as there is ways of breaking in a car...
Mainly the points I get are.

1. NEVER use any petrolium based products on vinyl graphics.

2. ALWAYS use a soft cloth when wiping over your graphics.

3. ALWAYS use products to clean and protect Vinyl that are known to be safe for Vinyl.

4. NEVER use Dish washing detergent of ANY KIND on your car.

5. NEVER Clay bar Vinyl Graphics

6. ALWAYS clean Bird droppings and bug spatter off vinyl as soon as possible.

7. NEVER let tree sap fall on your graphics.

8. ALWAYS do good rinse of the car before washing to remove loose particals of dust and grit.

9. NEVER use a buffer or polisher on your Vinyl Graphics.

10. DO NOT wax or polish your car for at least ONE month after it was built, to allow the paint and clearcoat to properly cure.

I don't know how much of these are true, but I do know after reading many detailing articals most had these points mentioned somewher in them.

I just used Adams RVT on mine as well. Looks awesome. I have the basic Adams starter kit. $50 and get 4 different products to try.

on the turtle wax web page in the FAQ it says in the decal section that if your car has flat shinny ones its ok to use on them if flat and matte it not.

I have used Adam's Americana on my stripes since day one. Easy on, easy off. Nice shine, water beads, no haze.
