I did a few searches on this and cannot find an image. I want to put black rims on my car and I found a set of these rims and tires used for 2k but i'm not sure how they would look on my car. Does anyone have these rims or a picture of them on a black SS?

21 inches tires are very expensive , you still have time to look into other options

Tires are pricey for odd number rims. Keep that in mind.

Thanks for the pictures first one. I appreciate it. I didn't realize the 21' tires cost so much more than the 20's.(thanks old friend / hightower) This set only has 50 miles on them though, do you think 2k is a fair price? Im thinking they would last for a while, its not a daily driver.

just to clarify, the 2k is for a brand new set of rims, tires and tpms. Basically they guy bought the car with the 21' kit on it and had them take it off and put the 20' oem kit on it? not sure why.

The tires alone cost between 2300-2500.

What are your goals with your car?

The OEM 21" wheels are very heavy. GM even stated that they slow the car down by .2 in the 1/4 mile (that equates to 20hp).

Something to think about if you're into performance.

You should also know that these wheels are poorly offset. You would expect accessory wheels to give your car the proper stance...
BUT NO.

These wheels actually sit more inboard than the stock 20" wheels. I bought spacers to correct the issue and make them flush with the body, but I did not like the instability of spacers/hub-adapters. So I will be buying some 22" wheels soon with a proper offset.

Just want to let you know... Becuase if I knew they were not flush with the body, I never would have bought them.

Wow more inboard? Crazy. That's one of the top reasons I wen't aftermarket. I didn't like how far in the stock SS wheels were and these are worse? Bummer.

Yea, its pretty bad. Annoys me every time I look at the car. And lowering it just made the bad offset more apparent.

To look good, they require 25mm spacing in the front, and 15mm in the rear.

I could have gotten longer studs to use the hub adapters as just spacers, but since I have to change my wheels every 6 months, this was not a feasable option, as the offset for the stock wheels are different.

BUMMER indeed...

wow, these wheels don't seem to be the route to go. The rims cost more, have more expensive tire replacement costs, they rob performance and have a bad offset. I think i'm going to pass. Thanks for the help, i'm a motorcycle guy and im just getting into cars. I guess I have a lot to learn.
