My new VVT cam vid

EDIT = ADDED A BUNCH OF NEW VIDEOS INCLUDING MY FIRST DRAG RACE . 12.6 ON STOCK TIRES..need lots of work lol

Here's a quick video my friend took of my new cam. Sorry its a crappy camera. Really doesnt do justice. Ill be taking another video soon with some drive by's and stuff. Edit- yes that is a land shark tall boy I'm drinking... But not driving.. How can you resist for 10 dollars for a case new year special!

VVT stage 2 cam
ARH heads and exhaust
CAI inake
VMAX ported TB
Tune and install by East Coast Supercharging
Car made 446RWHP 416TQ

Totally love the sound! Drives great and will be even better after i put a converter in. Little bit of drone not bad at all.

Some new videos!

Sounds amazing! How is surging with the stock converter? I'm trying to decide between the stage 1 and 2.

Well, when idling with the foot on the break itll buck sometimes and when at low rpms itll kick a little. It all depends on preference..I drive in traffic all day living in NYC and i can deal. When a woman is in the car they say oh wow sounds badass but the bucking makes em say something. Its definetly doable without one but it could def help. Go with stage 2. One doesnt have as big a lope or gains

+1....

This has been my thought in the decision as well as tax time approaches.

I don't think many can justify the actual cost associated with labor/tune with the moderate gains that you get from VVT1. Also, many have complained the sound/lope doesn't alter very much.

However, this is strictly DD for me and the wife drives on occasion, I love the driveability with headers/exhaust/intake, but I would like the extra punch and the lope is so incredible. I will replace the pump and probably eventually do a converter, but I would probably jump for the VVT2. I just don't know if I care for that much bucking.. I really need to feel this in person first as I have never attempted a swap.

If it bearable for me then it's definetly bearable for you. Especially with a converter. I honestly feel like I'm driving around a race car haha. Police do far have only given me looks and compliments but I assume because they haven't heard it open up yet haha

I'll find out today. They used my car for a magazine article so I kind I left it in their hands since they have the brains. I'm new to modding cars but I know that's definetly something I should know lol

That sounds really good. Did you get a baseline dyno pull? How much RWHP did you pick up?

I believe he said something to my friend ( he picked the car up for me). I think it gained almost if not 100RWHP. I may be mistaken though

Sounds great! What size/which converter would you have to run to get rid of the bucking?
