locker or truetrac

In my 68 runing a 9" ford rear end with detroit locker it a little aggressive
for cruising but great it the track. Going with a detroit truetrac more cruising than racing. Just wont both wheel to grab when i mat it.
Input please

I've always had a locker in mine. Never had any unwanted results. But I "just" run 295/50R15s. Though, it is a ton of fun in the rain... (use to be my daily driver back in high school and shortly afterwards) I would guess one can't go wrong with "today's technology" in the diffs made for the street. I don't have any experience with others, though...

Drooling over the ZL1s. It will be my next car if I can manage to pull it off...

My Locker never made/makes any noises, studdered/shuttered, or any other issues. I also think the car handles good for a '68. Love it! Though, I have big tires and sway bars. But you are probably "safer" going with the TT if you are open to both...

Yeah looked at other suite on this & the guys talked about the ratchet sound. When i pulled it the ajustment was good all gear looked good.
Iam runing M/T 29x15.50-15 with a 4link. Test run on the TT it,s not bad
it no 100% on traction.
