WHo couldn't figure out that the middle of the country could have hosted everyone from both coasts and everywhere in between? Too far for me. I'm out this year. Talk about messing up a good thing......

You guys all have fun. Unless PQ, Chris and I can get a deal on having our cars hauled out there I will see you all at Camaro5 Fest 2012.
Yeah I wished they had went for a central location. But they have to do what they have to do. |

for south bay folks:
Total Travel Estimate: 6 hours 13 minutes / 404.23 miles at 20mpg (average, probably will be more with my AFM) it's about $50-60 for gas. it's not so bad. i used to make this drive, sometimes stay the night and sometimes cruise on through, to el paso. trip from l.a. to el paso is 12 hours.

I would have to agree, and Allegiant air does not fly into Sky Harbor which is very crowded. Mesa-Gastway airport is in east Mesa, and is very easy to get in and out of w/o any hassles. The airport is very close to the US60 which will take you to Firebird Raceway about 70 miles to the west. If you are coming in try to get to Mesa-Gateway after 9 AM and before 2 PM because anything earlier or later you will be in 70 miles of the worst traffic you have ever experienced.

Well, that is a tad far. 32 drive and 2156 miles each way. I do not have the time to drive there.
Sorry everyone. Hope others can see our car sometime...:( |

I've got 6 months to find a job... well less than that if you account for having to get caught up on things. etc. and to save money for the trip.
