Jet Coat/cermaic coating Headers - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Question, just bought a set OBX LT headers,

First question is , Jet coat and ceramic coating the same thing? A place in NJ that I called says yes, But I want to make sure

Anyone know of a place in NYC/NJ area, prefer to do this local to save on the shipping costs. tried to do a google search found a ceranic coating place in NJ. got to be more companies out there, perhaps I am not using the right wording.

Reason I am looking to do this is merely for added protection, Northeast losts of rain /snow/salt/humidity , etc and I want these to last . Car is not a daily driver but I know just sitting out in front of my house under the carcover will be subject to the elements. crazy or good idea. I know the additional benifits are reduced engine temps, but wouldn't a header wrap do the same thing then??
