Newbie needing some help

What could cause a 2000 Camaro V6 to smoke from under the hood, have extremely high oil pressure, and a normal temp range? The pressure jumped up to 120+ while the temp stayed at 190-220 the whole time.

Lots of things could cause it too smoke. Is it in fact smoking? Or is it steam. Remember that the temp gauge on post 97 or 98 fbodies is essentially an idiot light and wont show temps past half until the check gauges light comes on.

Also has the engine been overfilled with oil? Check the level and report back. Also look for oil in the coolant overflow bottle. This could indicate a more serious head gasket or block issue.
