No, it's not normal. Does it make any noise in any other situation? Such as over bumps or during turns?

Yea, sounds like maybe the diff is ready to grenade. Or could be a bad joint or bearing along the drivetrain.

What? Normal? I dont have any clunk. My diff is built. Running stock driveshaft as well. Even with my 1piece shaft I didn't have any clunk.

Yes you do, lol you just can't hear it above the exhaust and all the sound silencer in the car. It's very subtle, but i've verified it's normal with these cars with a virgin low mile car. It's a very subtle u joint sound that comes from the drive shafts... It's there. I didn't start hearing mine until I drove with the boot off when I upgraded my shifter. You won't be able to get rid of it unless you go with a solid one piece driveshaft.

Umm....ok....yeah no. I had a solid 1piece driveshaft as well, no difference. I actually prefer the OEM 2pc. I have never heard a thumping or clunking noise from a camaro, unless something was wrong. You can hear the axles clicking, which can be loud as well. There is a fix for that.

there is info out there on this. Looking at your mod list, it's obvious that you're not new to the game. BTW how does it handle? Many of those mods you have i'm about to finally install. Hoping for a massive transformation, as my 98 c class mercedes handles better then my 12 camaro lol.

You probably got lucky with the noise, as it seems to be a fairly common occurrence with these cars
