Cool QuickJacks is at Costco now - 5000lb version

Costco is selling QuickJacks for 1099. Looks like its the 5000 lb one which works for me. I'm still debating it. May wait to see if they get the 7000 lbs one since I do occasional maintenance on my son's truck. Seems like a good deal if you're looking into the 5000 lb one.

They're $1000 for the 5k lb version, not cheap for sure.

There's only the 5000. I'm going to wait for the 7000. Maybe.

When you add in sales tax your savings are still about $300.

I'm looking at getting one next year. Looking at the 7000 lbs setup so I can use on all my cars plus maybe my truck.

It's 999 in person. My total after tax would be about 1085 since I'll be buying in person at the Spokane Costco. I'll feel dumb if I end up buying it full price later down the road, so I'm pulling the trigger this week.

Could you post your thoughts and/or concerns if any on it after you try it out?

Okay here is a long awaited update. Sorry all. I've had a lot of fun with this.

Picked up the QuickJack and there didn't seem to be very many left so glad I went when I did. I've thought about getting one for a while here and there and it was about time I did.

To begin set up was close to painless. It took around 20 minutes. Comes in 3 boxes so one frame, another frame, and power unit. Real fun to open it all! You got to put some stuff together but the manual goes over it well. I actually went on youtube to help me with the setup since I'm visual.

Currently using it only on my Corvette. So far I've changed my oil. I fit under comfortably and sliding the quickjacks under the car and pressing an UP button is the easiest thing ever. My garage is also very crowded but it's nice I can store the QuickJack easily against the wall and not have it get in the way. I'm already too close to filling up my wife's side of the garage. Good if you don't have room for a full lift.

Next project is brake pads. I'll be spending more time in my garage so I don't know if you will hear from me after this!!!

So no concerns yet about the product, but I figured out the curb weight of my sons Tacoma. Should work out with the 5000 but I'll see when I get there.

Bumping this. Costco is running a $100 off sale on the 5000. $999 before tax with free shipping. Ordered mine this morning!

I'm sure all are still happy with their Quick jacks. Thinking about purchasing 7K model. I'm afraid to ask (but I will) is it made in China?
