"Headers Regret"
Anybody slap on headers and regret putting them on??? Had them on my '69 GTO and loved the sound/performance, now being "deployed" on my 1LE. Thoughts??? Thanks.

I have texas speed headers En route to me but coming from cars that were turbo'd im hesitant due to the excessive noise it will now generate. However; there's only one way to find out lol

Nothing sounds better than an LS with Long Tube headers and high flow cats. Power gains are a solid 28 RWHP 28 RWTQ, Fit and finish ease of installation is the best we have ever seen in 28 years in business. These cars were built to be modded. I offer Plug and Play Power packages, parts and tuning in one neat package. Install the parts in your driveway Flash the computer with a custom JRE tune and your off to the races. Happy Holidays Ted.

The only regret is that the guy who owned my Camaro before me put shorty headers on and not long tubes. I'll fix that soon enough...

No regrets here either, I went with Texas speed. Only issue was a factory stripped o2 sensor. Some advice...take all of the sparkplugs out, mark where the dipstick goes into the oilpan, put anti sieze on the bolts, do the fuse pull. And last but not least, start it with straight headers!!!! |
