I've neve experienced this before when bleeding other cars but I'll just just keep turning the wheel watching for bubbles.
I had this issue on my build. Could not get the air out the traditional way no matter how many times I tried.

I bought a spare cap for the reservoir and inserted a fitting into it so that I could pull a vacuum on the reservoir while turning the wheel lock to lock. This did it in 5 minutes.

Just wanted to say thanks for the tip, worked like a charm.

Project complete!!!

Well, mostly. She's definitely good for road use now and drives great. No major issues to deal with. Pulls hard. Just a couple of small problems like hood latch sensor not working and the radio antenna not working as it should. Still need to evacuate the HVAC and recharge it too. Other than that she'll need a lot of TLC on her paint and her chrome wheels.

Just glad she finally lives

Very long road, I learned a lot though. (Learned that I DON'T EVER want to do this again LOL)

On the plus side I know exactly where every nut, bolt, connector, hose and wire is and goes.

That's got to count for something I figure.

Another plus, I have a SS now and that's enough for me

Meant to add that I have a lot of spare parts for a RS that I need to get rid of now. They will be crushed in the old shell if I can't get rid of them so if you have something in mind that you may need just let me know. They will be cheaper than you'll find anywhere else for sure. I don't want to ship if at all possible but willing to make exceptions if we can come to an agreement on price. I do have the LFX engine for sale cheap if anyone is willing to come get it. It is complete with the harness and ECU. I also will throw in the BCM if needed. Also, the trans, SS brakes, door cards, etc.
