Save your money on the IDs for now...I would recommend replacing the wire and then having a different tuner take a look at it. The wires could still be ALL of the problem as weird as that may sound.

Is Heintz Racing a decent drive for you? Jeff Heintz is solid when it comes to Camaros and G8's. Intermittent problem could be one of a number of things, some of which are not related to the turbo kit.

i think he tried that, as hufferss said tho it could be that, but its kinda unlikely but ive seen crazy stuff before.

probably best to log and let a tuner look at it. if u have a way to log im sure some guys on here wouldnt mind lookin it over.

John,

I thought that you might like to see what the kit looks like before it is installed, so I updated my review in the vendor review section with pictures. Let me know if you want to take the kit off your car and do some detail work on it. More then happy to lend my garage, tools, and beer fridge to help you out.

Man this sucks for the OP but honestly after the 2nd time these guys could not fix the issue I would have taken my car over to Mike and Ron at Vengeance Racing and let them figure it out. Sure it would have cost money but these guys IMHO are the best that I personally know.

You will need to resurface that header and do not use RTV
Make sure it is perfectly flat and clean and use just a GM manifold gasket.
Also ditch those plugs and install a set of ZR-1 Plugs gaped 0.042.

Ted.

+1 on the ZR-1 plugs. You will notice a difference with them.
