New personalized plate
I just ordered a new personalized plate. You're now allowed to order the old style plates from the 60's, and the black and yellow is my favorite. I got tired of my current personalized plate and thought this new one is much better. What do you guys think?

They will probably deny it. I placed a order a few months ago for a regular personalized plate and about two months later I received a letter saying it was denied because I mixed letters and numbers together and it would confuse law enforcement. Then it took over a month to get my refund. Never had issues before but it had been a while, apparently things have changed.

Looks good, love the old classic Cali style plate. Mine is "SNOWH8R" as it is tucked away for 7 months of the year up here.

My guess is that most LEOs won't think that's funny and you've just increased your chance of receiving a ticket if stopped. Stick to "2015 1SS" or "15 1LE", and avoid the "2FAST4U" and "RACE ME" type of plates.
That's just one guy's opinion (with 24 years of law enforcement experience). |

mine was just denied the other day. I reordered.........it took a month to deny it................and will take anywhere from 30-90 days I think it said to get a refund.

anything remotely conceivable that says anything about a LEO will probably not get approved right now.

That's a good one, I like it. I need to get something along those lines.
