Just out of curiosity how has GM let you down? I mean have you driven a new Camaro yet? They are leagues above a 4th gen, and outperform the Mustang GT, and the Challenger by a moderate margine.

Yes I have driven one, and yes it is far more advanced than my car. doesn't pull away from the competion like I had hoped it would in the handling and straight line department. the kind of overwhelming amount of poor quality control and the added weight for safety, come to find out it was useless

Like I have said I will have to wait yet another year, this was supposed to be the year for me. :/

Well yeah the weight was disappointing, however for cars all within the same price range the Camaro signifacantly outperforms the competition all around. It seems like your wanting a supercar for a musclecar price man. If your that dissapointed in the Camaro, then you should most certainly be dissapointed in the GT500 for how little it ouperforms the Camaro correct? And those 2 cars are not even in the same price range.

Just curious what you mean by doesn't pull away from the competition like you hoped it would. The best time thus far from a stock SS is 12.8, while as far as I know the best time from a stock 2010 GT500 is 12.3. .5 seconds difference, the exact same as the GT vs. the SS.

My cousin has a bolt on 07 mustang running 12.6 i would say it has about 350+ hp and yes the BEST time for the camaro is 12.8 all i keep seeing in REAL LIFE is 13.3's 13.1's and i wont even start on the slow automatic thing they have going on now :( we can stop this discussion now nobody is going to change what i feel and have seen with my own eyes. you guys can quote numbers all day. GM is not giving this car what it deserves. that is all i will end it with this post im not the one to get into a back and forth argument. I SEE what i SEE.

But look what your talking about man, that is TYPICAL MUSTANG OWNER MENTALITY now that you can see the camaro outperforms the Mustang, you inject a modded car. There are a number of bolt on cars here running 12.2 - 12.4. See where im going with that man, we could play that game till the end of time. Stick with stock cars or we might as well go as far as comparing the mustang and camaro funny cars.
