i saw just put it back to stock and dont lower your price.. i sold my 2011 2LT/RS with 19,000 miles on it for 23,000 last year before getting my 2SS.
i had to put it back on stock besides the razzi body kit.. well let me rephase that... i trade it in.. and before i even sign the paper for my 2SS/RS another sales rep told me that my car already sold... i wasnt able to meet the guy since he took the car and left... saw it going down the road 1 hour later in my new SS lol |

You can buy mine...
......but you'll need another $220,000 to get your hands on my 2086, original mile L89 SS.

How do you spend all this time and money on the car and not get a tune for the CEL? I think the $24K estimate is spot on for KBB's "fair" condition. Try some other used car price sites like http://www.nadaguides.com and http://clearbook.truecar.com/. I would take care of that CEL first before putting other stock stuff back on. You've also got to keep in mind how much it might cost in the end to convert back to stock. |

I was asking for opinions, but not smartass ones. I've got a friend that works at a dealer so I can get a discount. Thanks for the feedback though.

You need to attend one of the Mechem auctions on a Thursday or Friday or a Sunday. I saw several 69 Camaros that are driver quality go for around $20K back in January.

Ah but Bloomberg will be out in November and then it's on.besides right now we could always buy two. But it Sounds like the Cali laws are here to stay and probably get worse.

yea, just pointing out that someone from new york criticizing the lack of freedom of someone from cali is like a turtle laughing at how slow a snail is. you may not be as bad off as them, but you guys have still handed a great deal of your liberties over to a central power. bloomberg is a symptom, not the problem. |

Sellin Chevy's since '06

How long has the car been posted for sale? There is a saying at a lot of dealerships down here in Houston..."There's an ass for every seat." If you've had your car for sale for less than a month....be patient.
Some of your mods are cool...some I don't care for personally. Finding someone who wants a modded car and knows these cars AND has similar taste to you will take a while. Maybe 2-3 months-ish would be my best guess. Also ditch the check engine light asap!!! It will NOT sell with it on!

Lots of good advice here . Mods are the number one issue I believe . Also , look at your picture here on the forum , it's you on a racetrack .... OMG .... That tells me the car was driven hard and I'm running away . I wish you luck but you have lots of good advice here . Take it all in and I think you will be all right . If you don't have to rush , give it time ....

Couldn't you trade it in as it sits and get around 24k ish for it? That way you save on going back to stock etc.
If you expect to get 27ish after going back to stock, maybe it's better to just trade it as it sits instead of spending a few grand going back to stock on the hopes that you may net a grand in the deal. Do you pay sales tax on the amount of trade in? (What I mean is if you get 24k on trade, and buy a car for say 30k, you only pay tax on the 6k difference, not the entire 30k.) The sales tax savings really mean that on a 24k trade in, it's really like getting 25.5ish on the trade. (24k, plus 1500 or so in tax savings...) Just some things to keep in mind I guess. |

Bought mine a year ago at a DEALER for $25,699 (before tax) with a five year 100k mile warranty included. AND it's a 2011 LS3 2SS/RS. GM certified. Seems like $28,000 is too high in my opinion. I can look up plenty of 2011s with GM certifications at the same price.
