I wanted it, but I'd trade my car in for a new one before I buy that. I can get a better deal than list price but it's still over a grand for the exhaust and over $300 for the diffuser

True, but it still looks like crappy, lazy craftsmanship.

There are more parts required than just the mufflers and rear splitter.

On the vette's there is a vacuum switch that opens the 2nd port on each muffler when above 2800 rpm's.

There is an aftermarket company "mild 2 wild" that makes a remote controlled switch to keep the 2nd port open all the time, if desired, controlled by the remote control. This was very cool on the vette's and people were buying the NPP mufflers for this feature.

I know there is more stuff to it.....just thought I'd let everyone know how proud gm is of this exhaust. Wait a little while and I'm sure there are going to have some being warrantied. When that happens, the price goes down as gm doesn't want to pay full pop for a warranty price. That's how it happens here at my dealership anyway.

No, I like the single tips too, but I would prefer to have a nice sounding factory exhaust system instead of having to pay over a grand for an aftermarket setup and then trying to get rid of the factory piece.

I listed those because I was getting wholesale pricing from my dealer as I work at another name brand dealer. I didn't wanna post those prices....but that's in line with what I'd pay.
