Have not had 1 in the shop to test.I would be glad to build a set for a local at no charge just to see what gains can be had.I would need a car for a couple days.
Ask around and see what response you get.

basically a piece of pipe that replace your catallitic converter (by far the most restrictive part of any modern car exhaust system) make power makes sound, and real cheap to boot

Personally I would avoid removing the stock cats...

1) The sound will change but I would bet not for the better! Base on past experience with V6's, you will end up with a horribly raspy sound...

2) With a 3.6L size motor and the way the current exhaust it, I doubt you will see a big gain... definitely no where near the gains you see from the big V8...

But hey if some one want to try it ... LOL

look at clips from 350z g35 ; tey sound really good with just testpipes (if you additionnaly put a catback with bigger piping now it gets raspy)and they add about 20whp on 370z g37

your v6 mustang is a pushrod v6 which wont sound the same....370z or 350 are 60 degree v6 quad cam

2) no restriction is fro the catback not manifold and cats buddy (those always are restrictive)

Push rod???? LOL! No, the 4.0L is NOT a pushrod... it's a 60 degree V6 SOHC 12 valve..

don't car what the 350/370z or G37 sound like... I only care about what my car sounds like....

And don't forget... removing too much restriction isn't always the best either...

probably most of the restrictions is going to come from the heads... and you probably don't need to worry to much about that until you go FI...
