Highest Gear on stock v6?

Hey there just wondering what's the highest gear I could put into a V6 without converting it to the 9" rear kit ? just STOCK.

Of course this is for an A6.
Appreciate the feedback as well as time and patience.

If you have an auto, it does not have LSD. Best bet in the long run is to do a full differential swap. The lowest gear for the a6 is going to be the 3.55's, but you will still be one wheel peeling it.

Good luck!

Appreciate it just wondering before I go with a close to $5000 diff swap.

Think I can just get it from a salvaged A6 SS and swap it onto mine? Would probably come out cheaper like that.

That would give you the same gears. Go for an M6 SS differential - it has the 3.45 gears. Small upgrade but worth it if you're going to go boost later.

It will still be the same gearing you have, the 3.27, but you will have a LSD. If you do that, grab some gears and get them in. If you are able to grab one used, you can do everything turn key for 2k

Good luck!
