NewEra OTR

Swapped out the R2C for the NewEra. After a brief talk with Mike on the phone he pointed me in the right direction for tune help. Turns out I removed the rubber flap in front of the radiator a while back doing one of my cam swaps. This led to a surge at part throttle that I could not remedy. Mike suggested a few things along with re-installing the flap. Needless to say my local dealer didn't have it in stock so I made an aluminum one for the time being. All surge issues gone! This CAI is great, should have done this a while ago. Thanks Mike for your time on the phone.

If the New Era OTR existed back when I was looking I would have one now. The construction is obviously superior over my Vararam and I doubt there is much if any performance difference. Congrats!

It will only fit 14-15 models if you trim the plastic insert on the bottom of the hood.

Have you test fitted one with anyone who had the giant flexalite radiator installed?
