Camaro LFX vs 12-13 Impala LFX
I was suprised by the LFX and the 6spd trans they put in the Impala it seems like a great powertrain for this car.
I haven't been able to find any videos of the 12-13 LFX Impala actually in action. But by the seat of my pants the acceleration feels like it was right there w/ my out going 12 Mustang V6 (manual w/ 2.73's) which I'm happy with. Impala is 3650lbs, so its about 100lbs lighter than the Camaro Impala has 22hp less and 16lb/ft less tq. also not too sure on the gearing of the Impala 6spd auto AOL autos puts 12 Impala at a 6.3s 0-60 and the 12 Camaro at a 6.0s 0-60...

yeah there is no doubt that it cant hang w/ the camaro or the mustang 6 bangers in the twisties...
Motor trend tested the new 2014 Impala w/ the same powertrain and got a 6s 0-60 and 14.8 1/4 mile out of it. it weighs in at 3823lbs about 300 more than the 12-13 model. I'll have to run it at the track to see what this old man car can do.

Is the LFX Impala faster than the LS4 Impala (5.3 V8)?
