Yeah, I can't believe Roidereem got his butt handed to him...great fight by Silva nonetheless. Honeslty, I can't even begin to remember the Rashad fight, but I know he lost. Big fan of Maia and glad he took the decision victory.

That was definitely one hell of a KO. It blew my mind when I saw it, and talk about accuracy. The placement was perfect.

Jokingly sent an email to the owner of my gym and the dude I train with after I saw this that I wanted to learn that kick. Turns out it actually isn't TERRIBLY difficult to do, I was throwing them and caught my buddy with it (luckily he had his hands up haha) when we were sparring.

Now don't get me wrong, there is a huge difference between physically throwing the kick in practice and in actual use setting up an opening, timing it right, and connecting with that accuracy. The most impressive part isn't the kick, but in the following interview how he described reading his opponent and baiting him into opening up so he could throw that thing. Things like that are what make someone a real fighter. There is a clear distinction between him and what I can do lol

I hear what you are trying to say to a point lol.

Spinning kicks require serious balance and hip usage to be effect. While most people with basic training and good flexibility can throw it, to even land it requires serious skill. Timing and speed on these types of kicks is incredibly difficult. There are only a handful of people in the world that can execute them like that. This kid is no joke. His raw talent is off the charts.

The way I learned to do spinning heel kick was to make sure to get your head turned all the way around, and the rest of your body will follow.

My favorite kick is still and will forever be the Tornado Kick

Haha that is awesome. Something I've certainly never tried before. All these wacky moves are so sick but so rare to actually pull off well. Generally it goes like Sonnen's spinning backfist against Silva and they end up on their ass losing the match lol

Rory MacDonald has pulled out of his bout with Carlos Condit. Condit now faces Johnny Hendricks
