i am a long time chevy freak have owned a few tho not a camaro yet but at 38 goin on 39 will always be a chevy freak wether i have one or not

Why are you personally a part of C5?
I signed on because I wanted information and C5 provided more and better information than most other sites. It also provides me with a showcase for what I've done to/with my Camaro so other enthusiasts can appreciate and/or critique.

Why do you continue to be an active member?
Infotainment value - I can find the information I want, I can see other people's ideas and mistakes, and be entertained while I'm at it.

What is the most important part of the website for you?
I really like the regional forum, it's gotten me in touch with some great folks who enjoy their car like I enjoy mine.

I find the varied personalities to be...entertaining.

Commentary and information on aftermarket parts and upgrades.

i was looking at a camaro, came here and join to check stuff out. i love to talk about cars, this place has a great community of active members talking about a car or cars.

i am 21. joined when i was 18.

I'm here because of the Camaro. I've meet some great friends that I know consider family in my life on C5. I bought my first Camaro a year after I graduated high school (A 96' Camaro). I bought my 2010 Camaro when I was 23( I'm 25 now).

I joined a few days after I got my car because there was so much I didn't know, and every time I did a search C5 came up and everyone's knowledge was WOW!!! So, that grabbed my attention

Why do you continue to be an active member?

There is always something new to learn about this car, especially with mods. I'm still learning myself, and I love reading these informational threads cuz it helps me sound freakin' smart when I talk to other ppl about my car!!

Plus, I have made some awesome friends on here that it's hard to stay away for too long!!

What is the most important part of the website for you?

The informational or DIY threads. I learn a lot from those.

And finally, HOW OLD ARE YOU!?

Great place to learn about our cars. It's also a great place to find products for our cars and vendors that sell products for our cars. The people here are great, and helpfulness in this online community is thru the roof.

Why do you continue to be an active member?
I like to see the other peoples cars. I like to see new products that are coming out. The discounts/deals given to members is great too. This is my second Camaro in my life. The previous was a 93 Z-28. I never found a community like this one...I bet one didn't even exist at the time. Local groups are great, but limited population. This forum is a huge population with a commonality to keep us interested.

What is the most important part of the website for you?
The community is great. There are ass-hats here and there, but overall it's a great community.

I love this place. I troll a little, laugh a lot, and learn tons of stuff! Plus I met my guy here.

I am here because I have a 5th gen' Camaro and can get to know this car better through the fountain of info provided by other members. I have bought all my mods through vendors on this site. And I am pretty old.

I joined C5 when waiting for my car to be built and delivered during the initial hold back in July 2009. It was a great place to get valuable info on that process.

I stayed bc the people and vast amount of info on what these cars are and can be.

I pretty much just stroll thru the general discussions (favorite part I guess).

I'm 47.

I originally learned about Camaro5 from my sales person. He told me to come on here as a way to track the progress of my vehicle after placing my order. From there it became a cool place to go and share my passion with other enthusiasts.

Why do you continue to be an active member?
I really enjoy my Camaro and it also allows me to keep up to date what is going on in the Camaro world. I constantly get great ideas for what I would like to do to my car in the future and it has also acts as a means to find info out from other users when I have a question. Also… it kills time at work.

What is the most important part of the website for you?
I don’t know if I would say for me that there is a most important part, I really enjoy the web site as a whole.
