I did create a thread on it. With quotes from the Blackdog shop that built it.

However, you are right - it's off topic here.

No more . . .

Sorry!

Let me think, some guy named Trans Ram or the engineers who built the car?

Race engines are typically broken in on an engine dyno and this would be by Katech or GM Performance Center, I'm not 100% sure who does the GT4 stuff.

Yes. Because the rules don't allow for forced induction

Thanks for the link. So basically, they don't use the LT4 and take out the Magnetic Ride...and swap brakes...and use different trans. Doesn't really seem like this is a ZL1 at all except for the aero bits and front clip...

Thoughts anyone?

That's about right!!

This car is going to be sold to pretty much anybody with the cash, but marketed to race teams. Similar to the COPO Camaro program...but for the track. So it's "model name", as Mr. Meh correctly points out...is really the Camaro GT4.R.

I might actually make a stop over at BlackDog.. Some friends of mine have had work done there and I've seen some of their stuff rolling around in the area. Never made it to the shop thought. I suppose now it's time.

I did the AMS open house last year and boy that was a real treat.

I mean.. That's pretty much the reaction I'd have if I got to ride it..

If I got to drive it.. I'd look about like this:
