I've finally been able to make some late night runs up a long twisty 2 lane (highway 50) in Nor-Cal and came to a funny realization. In some of my past vehicles, this road required multiple shifts to navigate the 30-70+ mph the road calls for...Not in the Z. The speed in gears is unbelievable, with 4th good for nearly a 100mph spread (30 - 140+) from what I've read here. it's almost like driving an automatic, just leave it in gear and go. I'm really impressed by the power, torque and glorious sounds this motor makes, not to mention the feeling of invincibility once a passing lane and slow traffic come along.. Starting to learn why many of you will never part with yours..

4th gear is good up to 140 mph and yes, the torque is awesome!
