20x9 wheels on front of SS?
so, anyone see any problem with placing the rear wheel size on the front instead of the 20x8? I'm thinking of doing this so I can rotate my tires.. I also have about a 1.5' drop on my car..
Thoughts? tia |

Should work fine if you keep the stock rear tire size of 275's. I've already done this on mine (put the stock rear wheels and tires on the front), except I had the stock front wheels widened so I could run 305's on the rear. Got the wheels from ADM performance.

It works fine. one of our members (Michael_J's) has done it already, and he has a slight drop already, he has been running that combo for about 1000 m,iles and has had NO issues of any kind. I jsut bought myself a second set of rears to do the same thing. IF you have polished 20's and want to buy a set of rears, this IS THE PLACE. if you can find them any cheaper, you better jump at them, and these are NEW wheels, not take offs. Check out this thread, all the info is there.

wow.. thanks Sir Nuke... plan on having them powder coated.. so not worried about the finish..
Do you think it would be better to go through ebay or just email them... They're $299 on ebay so maybe just offer $250 plus shipping/wheel? |

I am running 20"x9" all the way around - NO issues! I bought my rear's on this site - lots of people selling sets. Selling my fronts is near impossible
These pics are with the car lowered 1" and the 20"x9" all the way around...

I don't know why they didn't offer the SS with 275's all around and the Lt/RS with 245's all around.

It's Vogtland's racing lowering kit. The president, owner & chief engineer of the North American division put them on my car. It's their pre-production springs So, no cost to me.
The ride is firmer, more taught. handles great! You do feel the road more... Thanks! Michael J.
