Well I distribute for them and am a direct link to them as a preffered vendor and friend but they are in Houston TX. The owner Erik used to instruct for SAM The School of Automotive Machinist. His shop is small and he doesn't advertise All he does is build precision racing engines. He is not a speed shop, and is considered one of the top builders in the country. His advise and design are used by Wiseco and Callies to name a few in the LS engine platform. Our superstroker 457+ motors are some of the finest in the word.

""""The ONLY reason you will see an increase in motor failures, is because with the popularity of the Camaro, tuner shops are popping up left and right. Even some of the people on this board have never even been heard of in the LS community before the Camaro. Now, for some reason, everybody and their mother, is an expert LS tuner.
Point being, is there is OVER 2.5 million lines of code in the Camaro's E38 PCM. It takes guys years to figure it out. """""

Wow....quite a lot of opinions after the fact....My opinion has been a consistant one since my rebuild. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Pay attention to fuel delivery along the way.. Dont ever just bolt on a SC with any other power adders unless you have deep pockets and are ready to do the rebuild. Just sayin!

That sucks to hear you lost the short-block. I agree the a/f probably was a little lean. Who know maybe timing was also off?!?!

If you decide you need a rotating assembly, or maybe a complete short-block/engine give us a call. We have all kinds of different options IN STOCK so we can ship asap!

Man that sucks! i also agree it was way to lean for the HP and boost you were running. it wouldn't have taken a very long run to build up alot of heat in the cyl and do the damage you did. Mix that with a lil bad gas and boom :-( its sad to hear. let us know if we can help you out at all!

I agree about the tunning code for sure but how many people blow their engine n/a ?

Dont get me wrong FI is awesome when its done correct.

Engines built for FI use forged pistons. Rings, bearing clearances.. even wrist pins..all different for FI over n/a.

Meth is a saftey feature but we see it used now as an enabler. I guess I'm old fashioned and use stuff for what it was designed to do... most of the time..LOL

Those are the facts. The engine was not built for FI. But this is the aftermarket world where people take things and stretch their intended use to get more out of it. It then becomes a risk and a person has to weigh the options. The best decisions made are the ones made with the most information available. There isnt anyone here to talk about the bad things associated with FI so I take that mantra..

Its about education and seeing things from different points of view.

All done here. This is why I researched for months n months before getting in to this field. To me, building a cheap FI setup is akin to buying 400W Sparkomatic speakers for your stereo.
