Let the Mod's begin!!!

Here is the skinny on the 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS as it is now. ****UPDATED 18 Jun 2011****

(More pics on 2nd page and a little background about building it)

Mods:
SLP LT Headers w/X-Pipe
SLP High Flow Catback
SLP Loudmouth II Exhaust
SLP Blackwing CAI
Hurst Shifter
Pfadt Lowering Springs
Red 6.2L emblems on the Hood
Red SS emblems on fenders under camaro
Blacked out signals and rear lights

Well in another post i was telling people what I was getting. Well guess what arrived today on my door step.

Thats RIGHT the first of many to come on this thread. Here is the process in picture form

Ewww shinny and NEW!

Out with the old...

GM did actually make a beefy shifter to be honest

Side by side..

Funny thing is the shifter swap was really easy, I did it in my drive way on some jack stands. Really the only hard part about this swap is the dang dust boot you have to put back on after your done with this step

Last steps..

BOOM the AFTER money shot!!!!

Next up will be the CAI from SLP (Blackwing). I should be getting that and the SLP headers back exhaust system too, but I will have to take a day off to go on base to use the lift so I can have i can get it done faster and safer than in my drive way LOL.

make sure you torqued the nuts nice and tight. Don't want that thing coming loose a few thousand miles down the road.

Always. I have learned in the past, if you try and cut corners and say "yeah that's about tight enough". Thats when all hell can break loose

Nope, I was younger and i was installing a rocker arm and guess what happens if you dont tighten the bolt all the way done, you get to see what happens to a push rod that comes loose in a engine real fast.

Post a video if you can when you're done with the exhaust. I really like the SLP exhaust and planning on getting a similar setup (loudmouth I), when I get mine.

Meh to each is own I say. I have used SLP for years and love there systems. And dont know much about corsa. I like the shifter of course, but I must say. I did feel like a first time shifter as i forgot the big difference on shift throw and clutch engage. So yea 1st to 2nd is a little tricky right now. Working on the timing as as I am so used to long throw and not as hard banging through the gears.

I probably should have put this in the build section. If an admin reads this go ahead and move it if you need to.

SWEEEEEET!!!! I could have hugged the delivery guy Look wha I gots! Time to get to installing huh

All of it spread out...

Pfadt Springs

SLP Blackwing CAI

SLP Loudmouth II Exhaust

Dont got the headers and rest of the flow system just yet, should be here Mon or Tues. I have to say Im very impressed by the quality of all these items. The Pfadt springs look amazing! The SLP is all shinny and just waiting to be slapped on to the rest of the system. I will post up some before, during and after pics of the SLP Blackwing CAI today, just have to wait for engine bay to cool down. Im so pumped, wife said I was acting like my kids on christmas day, i replied it kinda is christmas for me right now
