The paint looks a bit dull though, is there no way or no preference to put clearcoat over it?
You can tell from the last picture that these were taken shortly after airbrushing was done. The back bumper is still dusty and paint and tape still on the tire. Like others have said, great showcase of skills , but I wouldn't drive it.

I think the artwork is awesome, and whoever had the skill to do that is pretty talented. This would go good in a Comic-con display or something. But when you said "batmobile" I had a very different expectation of what I was going to see when I clicked on this thread.

Well the air brush artist calls it the batmobile. So thought i'd put it in the title let you be the judge of the art work. No doubt he has skills. Comic con would go droolin' for this ride.

Big ups to the artist. As for me I couldn't drive it, but if I were to see it on the street passing by. I could admire it.

It's just different !!!!!

Did anyone else glance over the hood and think, "Why is Batman throwing up?"

Definitely not a Batmobile. I always thought the original Batmobile was a Caddy, but this is what I found on the web......it aint wikipedia accurate, so it seems legit.

http://www.1966batmobile.com/

Lastly, the Batman on TV was so much cooler than the movies that have come out. Nobody ever shot nobody watching the two-part series on TV in the Sixties, let alone the original Batman movie like the nonsense that happens now.

Batman today is too dark and creepy, Adam West and his youthful ward Burt Ward were much better than the crap that has come out the past 15yrs or so.

Batman was intended to be dark and creepy. That's the whole theory of a bat. You stick in the sixties we'll stay in the 21st century where the Joker ruled and went out with a bang. R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

No no, the Batman is under the mask. Bruce Wayne is living with his, um, ward. It's not creepy, don't make that face. Can't a grown man live with a 16 year old boy that's not related to him, in a secure compound where God knows what takes place, without everyone making these assumptions?!?!
