I spelled unleaded wrong. It was just pump gas, the same that you got.

cm on now! all the folks with there challengers n ponys came to win n have plenty of experience. all but like 3 or 4 camaro drivers were exp. enuff to hang with them. 90% the competition is won by the driver the rest is the car. cant win if u cant drive or even get off the line like more thn a few yesterday. reguarless there were some really great times yesterday and i got to see the mustang(rousch) get beat! hahaha i have it on video yes!

Don't hate too bad, but this was my first time running on a drag strip, I had street tires (Toyo Proxes 4). I had a few pointers from a few people (thanks) My reaction time went from .940 to .120. I kept spinning off the line, but got lucky on this one..

Here is the picture of my winning time slip (sorry for the crappy Iphone pic) and Mike (the guy I raced against in the final run and won).

My car # was 20

Congrats!! We talked a few times in the staging lanes!! Helluva first time out for drag racing! I bet you're hooked now!

And the Challenger guys are just looking for something to talk about. Every magazine puts their car in last place in pretty much every category. The last time I went to the track (DA 100 ft. 65 degree - sea level track) there were 3different Challengers at the track. Their times were pretty sad for the conditions being so good.
The one guy with the Challenger R/T was happy when he broke into the 13s (13.8s with a dead hook off the line).

Not tryin to start a flame war, just stating the facts. I think we all know stock for stock with a GOOD driver a M6 LS3 Camaro is a little stronger than even the SRT. Now I will stand by my opinion that the L99 Camaro is dead nutts even with all the SRT cars (magnum,charger,300, and challenger). I dont believe there has been a STOCK SRT challenger to hit 12's yet, but thats only because 9/10 of the owners will never track their cars and on top of that theres just not that many out there when compared to Camaros. Perfect example they have plenty more RT's on the road than SRT's thats probably the reason there have already been STOCK less powerful RT's go 12's and not the SRT. Also there had been many many STOCK magnum, charger, and 300's(which are even heavier than the challenger) run sub 12.50's just like the L99. Y? Sheer numbers, theres just so many more on the road which in turn means there are alot more at the tracks running.

Ok rant over. I know this isnt the place to be talking about this so with that said lets continue with our normally scheduled program.

Somebody show me a 9sec slip from a daily driven streetable Gen5 Camaro! Our fat pig mopars everything from a magnum to a charger to a challenger have been 9's with very limited aftermarket support. And im pretty confident were about to have a 4700lb magnum knocking on 8's. Cmon yall, get these sexxy ass Camaro's to run the number we all know they can run! Sorry guys I know it takes time but im kinda impatient. lol
Everyone want's to feel good about their choices with their money and their skill, along with talking a good yarn..

Shop sponsored

I don't know about everyone else on that list....but my Livernois vehicle was no "shop" sponsored car...or a car they pull out only for the big events. I wanted to do some mods, they did a great job of helping that process along....and then I asked them if they wanted to have my car down here....

This is the same a-plus service, a-plus performance that anyone will get going to Livernois

Look for my car to be completely tuned, dynoed and track run by the end of the week.........I'm looking for a 10.4 in there somewhere....we shall see.

Wow! My 13.3 @ 105.9 MPH sounds pretty good! I wish you would have lined up against me. That 13.3 was run on my 4th run ever on a track! I am so proud of my totally stock Transformer Edition. I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Other guys were burning out and I just drove around the water, lined up, then floored it on the last yellow light! I think if I could run it about 50 times to learn my car better, I would get a into the 12's. I wish I could have done a few more runs, but the wife and kids wanted to go eat. I had a great time and it was truly a great event!

You are correct, that is FACT. Its a FACT the outcome of that foolishness was possibly determined by driver being that one car was an auto n the other a stick. Its also FACT that the camaro was SLIGHTLY more modded. Im making no excuses the Challenger lost and i have already said that its understood that stock for stock with a good driver an M6 will SLIGHTLY outperform the srt. I just think that test would have been more creditable if it were to match both cars with the same tranny and ONE driver driving both of them. Jus my opinion though.

nice times!! You wouldnt stand a chance if u ran me, lol im not the guy with the purple challenger i was just posting his times because i done think hes a member here. Yea alot of guys dont understand with street tires u shouldnt really do a hard burnout, it can actually make u spin more if u do. When i used to race on street tire i just spun them over to clean them up and then staged.

He never made a full pass. He made one attempt to run and damn near hit the wall cause he was spinning so bad. He had 20" 305 or 315 nitto dr's on the car but they just couldnt hold the tq. He needs a slick.

Hes built I wouldnt say heavily built. Imo
Low Comp 426 stock heads with only a valve job
Techo Twin Screw (only 8lbs of boost)
Built SHR tranny
Stock axles and rear end, think thats the reason he didnt run again in fear of breakin something 500miles away from home.
