I'm still here! They're having problems getting the OE dif bushings out. I might be here overnight!

According to the Pfadt Bushing Replacement Installation Manual, it provides the following instruction to remove the OEM Diff Bushings:

1) Cut out the centers of the OEM bushings with a sawzall.
2) Collapse the shells with a chisel (or an air chisel) and push the sleeves out of the housing.

Sounds drastic but ....

Update. I'm home but not with Big Red! he's still on the rack waiting for the differential to be done, we simply ran out of time! Steve is a stand up guy and gave me the keys to his wife's car so I can get home! They'll finish up next week and I'll go back out when it's done. Steve said this way he'll have more time with it on the dyno so he can really get it dialed in! I can't wait till its done! The guys at RDP were very accommodating but Murphy's law reared its ugly head today!

That sucks that you gotta wait a little longer but Steve sure is nice, I hope his wife didn't mind! Haha.

Yea it was really good of her to do that for me! I knew I was taking a chance by having to wait and having the possibility of being stranded 3 hours away if anything went wrong! It was a LOOOONG day but I did get a complete tour of the shop and heard a couple Hemi's on the dyno! Those guys are real motor heads! Steve is gonna do a video when he does the dyno tune too!

I will not speak bad about Murphy, hopefully he will leave me alone.

But as a mechanic, I hate rushing jobs, that little tweak here and there that may not be done for the sake of time can sometimes make a hell of a difference. And if you don't do it nice, you do it twice, first time pays but the second time is free.

I know! I don't like anyone breathing down my neck when I'm working either! I felt like my impatience was rushing them a bit but these guys are meticulous and they want to get it right no matter how long it takes!

You can call me any time for help on Nikita but you have to buy the parts yourself!
