Choices....
So I want to get a new game, but I need help deciding.
I'm getting Black ops in November, but there's three other games I want to get. Fallout: new vegas Fable 3 Red Dead Redemption Any thoughts? If you could only choose one, which would it be? |

I have been interested in getting Red Dead Redemption. I have heard quite a few good things about it and it would be next on my list.

I played RDR over at a friends house a couple weeks back and while we just started I was having a blast. Sure it's almost just like GTA IV, except it's set in the wild wild west! I may have to pick it up.
Never played a Fallout game or Fable game. Will pass on Black Ops when it comes out and get it cheaper around BF/Xmas.

I just got Fable 2 for free (sweet!) and really like it. I couldn't get into Fallout 3, and although I've heard a lot of good things about RDR it's basically Old West GTA (or would that be GTH?) and I got bored with GTA after a while. So I would go with Fable 3. Then again they all seem to be good games in their own right.

All 3 are good choices though if I had to pick one I would lean toward RDR. Campaign has plenty of content to keep you going 40+ hours & haven't tried it myself but online looks really cool...get to roll with a posse and take out other gangs. Not to mention if you're a zombie fan they have an DLC undead expansion coming out by the end of the month that looks pretty cool.

Fallout Vegas first choice by far. I killed so many days with F3. If your into somewhat sandbox style games Id recommend giving Mafia II a spin, its a bit more linear than others, but very good!

Red dead Redemption was great, you definitely get your moneys worth in play time. That said the multiplayer kinda sucks.

I LOVED Red Dead Redemption. I played it until I was at 98.7% complete. Only had one side mission and 2-3 bounty locations left to do when my son "accidentally" saved his game over mine.

Wow. I just checked ebay and used copies of RDR are still going for $40.
In the end, it comes down to what kind of game type you want to play! |

I LOVED RDR. The ending made me tear up... Crazy good story for a game. But you could get it used cheap.
I really liked Fallout 3 a lot. Infact, I played it twice, once as EVIL and the second time as a GOOD guy. I cant wait for Vegas. Sorry, Id say both are tied. Actually, Vegas probably has way more content... Your choice dude.
