No. I have called around some. One place may start one if enough interest. I may have to go with a personal trainer but that is not nearly as much fun.

I'm now down 9 lbs, ;-)

Still at it so no worries here, other than yesterday. I was out of town at the brother in laws place watching NASCAR and eating chips and a dish of jambalaya which blew my calories out the window, but it didn't change anything on the scale today and I'm back to being sensible!
Keep up the good work everyone!

Sounds like you're doing ok, don't worry about yesterday, it's ok to enjoy yourself now and then, just don't get carried away.

Hope everyone is still going strong.

I am finally getting back into a full workout this week. Stitches have been out and the infection is gone. The wound is still not completely healed but enough so that a full leg workout was not a problem. Maybe I'll get to finish my routine before I get injured again. lol

Okay, so since I have had to give up sooooo many of my former guilty pleasures in part for healthy eating & in part because of gluten intollerance, I have been searching for some lesser evil pleasures to add occasionally. One thing I really miss is ice cream. I found these portion controled Frozen Greek Yougrt things & they are not half bad taste wise. What do your guys think? Yeah, I know, the 3rd ingredient is still sugar, but as treats go they don't seem too bad. What say you?

I've never checked but I would think there are others that may be better. I realize the 3rd ingredient is sugar BUT do you realize that the 6th,11th and 13th are also PURE SUGAR ?????

Something that may help some who aren't aware, when they list sugar in an ingredient list, it is for processed sugar only, the natural sugars and other forms of sugars are seperate.

Here's a recipie for a treat, I have'nt tried it but it looks like it's worth a try.

30g wpi protein powder
10g shredded coconut
10g honey
10g oat bran
10g almond meal
20g nutella or choc hazelnut spread
Makes about 5 balls

Protein= 34g
Fat= 11g
Carbs= 23
Macros don't include rice milk.

Mix together all ingredients with about 10g rice milk or until desired consistency. You can use any milk or water, and the flavour of my protein powder is cookies and cream but I've tried it with coffee flavour and chocolate. I've also used cocoa powder in place of the nutella. Once you've rolled the mixture into balls you can roll them in a little extra shredded coconut just for an extra treat.

:happy anim:

:h umble:

CFD this ones for you Can't thank you enough for your
help. I spent Sunday making a Shrimp recipe that Bonnie had
posted on FB and then made some more Turkey Meatloaf from
the cookbook you had posted. Made some Tyson chicken a
couple days before that and my freezer is full - ready to go for
a few weeks

FYI Jan - I eat those frozen yogurt too - love them. BUT, I watch
my daily calorie count and will have one when I have room left
in my count.

Keep up the good work everyone. Busby is doing an awesome job
with the Fitness Pal app. I've got to get caught up

That's great news, that's a substancial amount from a couple of weeks ago, it makes me think that you didn't show a loss last week because of perhaps water retension or the extra cals you had jump started your metabolism because you have been loosing steadily and at some point the body says enough so you have to trick it, that's pretty much what cheat days are, so the body doesn't have time to adjust for low caloric intake.

I am more than glad to help. I'm a bit passionate about this stuff and really enjoy seeing people make the changes and come to realize the full benefit besides just the weight loss but how much better you actually feel in general.
