Paint Question
Hello all,
My car was built around Sept 9 or 10, so I have not had it that long. I really enjoy this car and think the V6 sounds really neat. I have not quite gotten used to the clutch yet but this car has so much power regardless of the gear you are in. Yesterday, I noticed a small area on the drivers side, just below the door (as you open the door, the 2 inch by 2 foot strip of metal which I always try to avoid hitting with my shoes when I enter) where the paint seems to have a bubble in one area and a rough (microscopic series of bubbles) in another area. The defects are very small and could only be seen when I open the door. I could live with the defect as they are small, difficult to see and can only be seen when you open the door. I really don't want to bring this back to the dealer so soon with this issue as this car is so much fun to drive. My question for the community is will this area potentially rust? I know nobody has a crystal ball but does anyone have some information on this. Thanks so much, Keep on enjoying these wonderful well engineered and well built cars!!! |

Hello c5ers. I hoped someone would have something to say about the paint irregularity. This car has been a great drive so far and the more I drive it, the more I like it. Does anyone have an idea about the paint irregularity?
