Thanks for all of the replies, all make good sense. Only cosmetic mods to the Fifty and a Rotofab (still in the box). $25 is not worth 200 hp and losing the top.

Most dealerships don’t treat editions like this different. It’s just another 2SS to them. Some do treat it different but most don’t. And I know this from seeing friends trade 45ths, seeing Hot Wheels and transformer editions traded/sold, etc.

Ultimately Cchief has to decide is the ZL1 worth the extra cost and ditching of the 50th.

For me the SS is plenty. I will do some engine mods eventually. But it’s all I want/need plus I’m partial to the edition (if no one could tell lol).

But to each their own. And at least it’s another Camaro and not a rustang.

Cchief, your car is awesome..... a ZL1 is awesome too.... but I don’t think I would ever really use the extra power..... but then again the whine of supercharger is pretty cool.

Did you test drive the ZL1? I have not....is it more awesome than I imagine?

Oh.... my final perspective.... I LOVE when people go out of the way to chat me up about my car... mostly cause they see the FIFTY and about half don’t know what it even is, and half just love the car and want know more.... just today at the Pet store, I was buying my two big bags, and a guy in line behind me left his bag on the floor, and helped me carry one of the bags out. I coulda got both myself, cause John Wayne woulda... but on the way out he said he saw me go in, and wanted to talk to me about my FIFTY, and was afraid I’d be gone if he stayed to buy his dog food. we talked for 10 minutes.... nice guy... I’m not sure there would be as many of these impromptu chats if I had let’s say a new vette, or most any other car....
people are really impressed with the details of what Chevy provided with the 50th edition....

I drove a ZL1 3 years ago for a week...was in Vegas and my son gave me his while we were there, awesome car but his windows were so tinted, I had to open them to change lanes.

Yes...installed the Borla Atak axle back. The car sounds amazing, had to cut the existing one out with a sawzall. Now it sounds like it should! Plenty of exhaust notes on youtube, do a search on Borla Atak axle back on a 6th Gen Camaro SS.

Just got these installed! Got lucky with the colors, I didn't realize that the orange museum color was pretty much the same as the Fifty orange.

Went to auto show with my dad today. They had a fully loaded 2019 2SS to look at, but I saw them at Fest already.

Got to see the new Blazer. Really think I found my new daily to replace my truck.
