Exactly. Colorado is sliding fast. I have family there that said they’d never leave now they are considering it.

UPDATE:

After much research I went with buying a 1,300 mile factory stock unit online thru Ebay. Black market smoggers wanted $600 to $700 to pass the car, now with new smog certificate I will be into it for less than $240.00 and safe from roving mobile smog units. Yes folks CA has portable roving smog units trying to bust hard working citizens who love their cars and the sound of American V8's

WOW, its crazy how bad it has gotten there. Crazy thing is people are leaving there in large numbers, but they will move to another state and still vote the same clowns in office. Rinse and repeat. SMH

Eh, it's not that bad out here in LA. I'm driving a cammed SS with no mufflers. I drive about 18,000 miles a year in LA. I've never been pulled over to get smogged, or ticketed for loud exhaust.

A cam and muffler delete has no bearing on smog checks. Now, if you removed the cats, that's a different story...

I have Volant set-ups on all my cars and trucks. They come with the CARB stickers - just make sure you put the correct sticker on the correct vehicle. I found out the hard way, but Volant sent me replacements...
