Check Engine Light and DRLs blown
I have a 2012 1LT/RS with 42k miles, and it's never given me any problems. Friday when I started the car, the check engine light came on, and it never went off, even after driving it two more times Friday and twice Monday before being able to take it to the Dealership.
Well, they checked it Monday and told me that it gave them four codes for electrical problems and then cleared the light. Today I brought it back for them to check out the codes, and they just called me and said that the codes were History codes, and nothing was wrong, but that my car had blown both DRLs. Is this normal? Like I said, I never had a problem with this car before. The DRLS were working fine until this. Could the "electrical problems" that they suddenly decided weren't there have caused this? |

If we can check into this further with your dealership for you, daniip, we're happy to do so. We can be reached via private message and request that you send us your name, contact information, the last 8 digits of your VIN, and the name of your dealership. This enables us to set up a file to record our interactions with you and the dealership.
