I'd really like to get the DJ Grilles Predator grille, but I have no budget for that at the moment.
I drilled holes every 4 inches in the top and bottom of the phantom grille. The drilled corresponding holes in the bumper. The grille now bolts to the bumper. It filled the space nicely and gave the flimsy pos some stability.

I don't think this grill is installed correctly. The bumper skin should go in the grove of the grill. Check the pictures below.

He is trying that, but the stupid tabs aren't the right shape, so they don't slide in. As far as I can tell he has the tabs in the right place, but they need to be dremeled in order to fit

Damn...I really wanted this bumper, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble.

It does look sweet when done up. But.... I'd lose my mind if someone backed into it and I'd have to go thru this process all over again.

If the one on my wifes car gets damaged we will go back to the SS or maybe the ZL1. This was too much hassle. Does look good though once finished.

It's so unfortunate that this bumper is such a piece of shit when it looks so good. Really a bummer.

I did, they work like a charm. Btw everyone, I'm planning on going the predator grill route during black Friday and bolting it to the bumper. It should look pretty good after that.

Which specific harness goes with this bumper?

Is it this one?

Just want to make sure this is the right one for keeping LEDs on with headlights...
